Hello, I'm Kailey Hurley, a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Information Science from the University of Arizona. During my studies, I maintained a 4.0 GPA and was honored with the College of Information Merit Award for Fall 2024. My passion for user-centered design and technology integration drives my work in UX, where I strive to create intuitive and impactful digital experiences that truly meet user needs.
I brought my expertise to the University of Arizona Information Technology Services as a User Experience professional, employing Agile methodologies to gather user feedback and create user-centric content. As a leader in a lab section for ISTA131 at the University of Arizona, I taught undergraduates Python pandas, DataFrames, SQL, and matplotlib, grading their work and fostering a passion for technology.
My commitment extends beyond the professional realm. I actively participated in the iVoices Vertically Integrated Program, conducting analytical research on how technology influences undergraduates' learning experiences. Proficient in Python, R, SQL, Figma, and Adobe XD, I merge technical proficiency with design skills to excel in diverse projects.
Beyond the tech world, I find joy in reading and road biking. With a completed FERPA training, my dedication to data privacy and ethics underscores my holistic approach to the Information Sciences field. I'm enthusiastic about contributing my skills and knowledge to the ever-evolving landscape of technology, where innovation meets user-centric design. Connect with me if you're seeking a dedicated, innovative professional with a solid academic foundation, real-world UX experience, and a passion for technology integration.
